The 2019 Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Expo is pleased to partner with Bell Media, 890 CJDC and the Dawson Creek & District Hospital Foundation for the upcoming Have a Heart Radiothon campaign.

Every year, the Encana Events Centre includes a charitable component during the Expo – a way of giving back to our community. For the second year, attendees will be supporting the Have a Heart Radiothon and the Dawson Creek & District Hospital Foundation through a portion of every admission ticket sold. The donation will be presented to the Have a Heart Radiothon Campaign following the event. Last year the Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Expo raised $1527.00 for the campaign.

The Encana Events Centre will also support the Have a Heart Radiothon Campaign by creating a special lightbox on tigerboxofficeplus.ca where patrons purchasing tickets can choose to make a donation to the Foundation at the same time as processing their ticket purchase. This lightbox will be available for the month of February to support the initiative.

Funds raised through the Have a Heart Radiothon Campaign will go towards crucial equipment upgrades within the Specialist Clinic and Rotary Manor that will enable them to offer South Peace residents the finest care possible close to home. The equipment includes a Uroflow meter to be used during specialist appointments as well as new Vitals Monitors to assist in patient care.
