History
The Ovintiv Events Centre, located in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, is the premier entertainment facility for the BC and Alberta Peace Region. First opening its doors in 2008 as the Encana Events Centre, the venue was renamed in 2021 after Encana Corporation, the facility’s naming rights partner, rebranded as Ovintiv Inc.

This state-of-the-art, multi-use facility features 4,500 permanent seats and 27 VIP Luxury Suites, making it the region’s top destination for concerts, sporting events, family shows, and community gatherings. The facility is proudly managed in partnership with the City of Dawson Creek and Oak View Group.

About Oak View Group
Oak View Group is a full-service venue management and event programming company built on the foundation of truly putting our clients first. Founded in 2015 by Irving Azof and Time Leiweke, with Madison Square Garden Entertainment, OVG has one simple goal - to provide venues with customized services that produce results. 
The Ovintiv Events Centre Food & Beverage department is also managed by Oak View Group Hospitality.
