The Ovintiv Events Centre receives numerous donation requests from a wide range of charities, schools, businesses, individuals and special interest groups. Due to the high volume of requests that we receive daily, Ovintiv Events Centre has formalized the process of managing all general requests.

How are items allotted?

The item or package that is donated is at the discretion of the Ovintiv Events Centre. Considerations include: the type of fundraising initiative, the capacity of the event, and if the group has received a past donation. An additional deciding factor is the amount of requests received, as we have a limited number of items available each month.

If your request is granted, what type of items are offered?

We donate event tickets and on occasion, we donate autographed memorabilia and/or Ovintiv Events Centre items, but cannot provide this for every fundraising event.

How do you apply for a donation request?

All request must fill out our short form below and attach an official letterhead from the organization or charity. Due to the volume of requests received, we must receive your request at least 6 weeks prior to your event. Please ensure your request letter contains the following information: Date of the event, type of fundraiser, how the donation will be used (i.e. Silent Auction item, Door prize), where the fundraiser proceeds will be directed & contact person’s name, phone number and address.

Granted requests can be picked up at the Box Office at the Ovintiv Events Centre, but contacts will be notified by phone when their package is ready.
