• Children under 24-months of age may** access an event at the Ovintiv Events Centre without a ticket as long as they are able to sit on the ticket holder's lap and do not obstruct the view or comfort of other Ovintiv Events Centre guests.  Children aged 24-months and older require a ticket to access an event at the Ovintiv Events Centre. **Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different ticket policy that requires children 24 months and under to have a ticket. Please reach out to the Box Office 250-782-7443 if you have any questions.
• Discounted ticket prices for children are sometimes available for various events.

• For security purposes, all bags may be subject to search upon entering the Ovintiv Events Centre.
• Oversized bags/purses larger than 14" X 14" X 6" are not prohibited.

• If for any reason an event is cancelled, regardless of if it is re-scheduled, all customers are eligible for a refund at their point of purchase. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, information is immediately sent to the local media for distribution and also placed on the Ovintiv Events Centre website www.dawsoncreekeventscentre.com. In the case that an event is not rescheduled, all customers who purchased tickets with a credit card will be automatically refunded. Only customers who originally paid in cash will be issued a cash refund.

• OEC Gift Card can be used towards the purchase of most tickets, food, beverage and merchandise at the Ovintiv Events Centre. Some exemptions may apply. The Gift Card may not be applicable for all types of tickets or for tickets to certain types of events.
• Gift Cards are not replaceable if lost or stolen.

• Our administrative office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
• Lake View Tix Box Office is open Monday to Friday, 10:00am-3:00pm.
  If an event falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday, the box office will open at least two hours before the doors open for the event. Call the box office at 250-782-7443 for exact show day hours.
• Visit the Wayne & Bev Dahlen Walking Track schedule for hours.

If you lost an item at an Ovintiv Events Centre event, please call the Box Office 250-782-7443 to claim your item.

We take your safety seriously.

• As required by law, ANYONE appearing under 30 years of age will be asked to produce TWO pieces of ID, one of which must be gov't issued. ID must have name, date of birth, photo and signature. Visit the BC Government website for more information on liquor laws.
• Only TWO alcoholic beverages can be served per person at one time.
• Liquor wristbands may be required for specific events.

• You can visit the main Lake View Tix Box Office location at the Ovintiv Events Centre in Dawson Creek, B.C. Tickets can also be purchased online by visiting lakeviewtix.com, dawsoncreekeventscentre.com or by calling 250-782-7443.
• You can also visit our Lake View Tix Box Office OUTLET location at Software Emporium, 10308 10th Street, Dawson Creek
• The Ovintiv Events Centre does not guarantee any tickets not purchased through one of these methods, or any tickets you may purchase from a third party. Should you purchase tickets that have been resold, you purchase these tickets at your own risk and we cannot guarantee entry to the event.

• The Ovintiv Events Centre enforces a no-re-entry policy during paid events. Anyone leaving the Ovintiv Events Centre during a paid event will not be allowed to re-enter the building. Any exceptions must be approved by the Centre’s Management or their designee.

If you need security during an Ovintiv Events Centre event, there are numerous staff in any location of the arena at any given time. Keep an eye out for yellow uniforms or please go to the Box Office for assistance.

• The Ovintiv Events Centre is a non-smoking facility and smoking is not allowed. The Centre will no longer allow patrons the ability to use the smoking areas that were in place. Anyone leaving the Ovintiv Events Centre during an event will not be allowed to re-enter the building.
• Those who wish to smoke or vape will need to do so before the event and/or after the event.

This ticket is a revocable license.  By purchasing, receiving or using this ticket, the holder, on behalf of the holder and any minor accompanying this holder (individually and collectively, the “Holder”), agrees to all of the terms hereof.  The Holder agrees not to transmit, distribute, or sell (or aid in transmitting, distributing or selling) any description, account, picture, video, audio, or other form of reproduction of the event or any surrounding activities (in whole or in part) for which this ticket is issued (the “Event”). This ticket may not be used for any form of commercial or trade purposes without the express written consent of the City of Dawson Creek.  Breach of any of the terms of this license, failure to comply with area rules, or the refunding to the Holder of the printed purchase price of this ticket, shall automatically terminate any right that the Holder may have hereunder; shall render illegal and unauthorized the Holder’s use of the ticket for any purpose; and shall authorize management to withdraw the ticket, refuse admission to the arena, or eject the Holder from the arena.  The resale or attempted resale of this ticket is not allowed on the area property.  Management reserves the right to change the date and/or starting time of the Event, and/or any artists or acts and no such change shall entitle the Holder to a refund of the purchase price.  The Holder grants permission to Oak View Group, the City of Dawson Creek and the promoter of the Event (and all their designees, licensees and agents) to utilize the Holder’s image, likeness, actions and statements at the Event in connection with any broadcast or reproduction without further authorization or compensation.  The Holder is prohibited from bringing or carrying bottles, cans or outside food or beverages in the arena.  Management reserves the right to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, obnoxious or unbecoming.  If ejected, the Holder forfeits all and any claims to refund or otherwise.  THE HOLDER OF THIS TICKET VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISK AND DANGER of personal injury (including death) and all hazards arising from, or related in any way to the Event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the Event, howsoever caused and whether by negligence of Oak View Group and/or the City of Dawson Creek.  THE HOLDER HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS OVG360 AND THE CITY OF DAWSON CREEK FROM AND AGAINST ALL CLAIMS, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, RESULTING FROM OR RELATED TO ACTIONS OR INACTIONS OF THE HOLDER. The Holder and the Holder’s belongings may be searched upon entry into the arena, and the Holder consents to such searches and waives any related claims that might arise against Oak View Group and the City of Dawson Creek. If the Holder elects not to consent to these searches, the Holder will be denied entry in the arena. Comp $0.00 Tickets are not for re-sale.  Any Comp $0.00 tickets sold for profit will be cancelled and no longer valid for the show.

• Ticket resellers are not recognized ticket agents of the Ovintiv Events Centre.  Guests purchasing tickets from a private reseller, intentionally or not, risk being refused entry to the Ovintiv Events Centre.  The Ovintiv Events Centre strongly recommends all guests purchase their tickets from the Box Office, online at www.lakeviewtix.com or www.dawsoncreekeventscentre.com, by phone at 250-782-7443 or in person at the Box Office at the Ovintiv Events Centre to avoid the possibility of counterfeit, stolen, void or invalid tickets.

Ticket scalping is not allowed on the Ovintiv Events Centre or the South Peace Community Multiplex property. Anyone trying to sell tickets on the property will be asked to leave the premises.

• Tickets purchased for will call can be picked up 48 hours from the time of purchase, during Box Office hours. Exceptions may be made if the tickets are purchased for will-call within 48 hours of the show. Will-call tickets can only be picked up at the main box office. Patrons must show government-issued photo identification as well as the credit card used to purchase the tickets at the time of pickup. Only the account holder may pick up the tickets unless a name change has been processed prior to the time of pick up. Name changes must be done by visiting or calling the Box Office directly at 250-782-7443.
