Encana Events Centre Achieves WorldHost® Certification for Customer Service

Dawson Creek, BC – Global Spectrum Facility Management is pleased to announce that the Encana Events Centre has been recognized by Destination British Columbia as a WorldHost Recognized Business. This winter, 70 staff (fulltime and part time) participated in WorldHost customer service training program making the Encana Events Centre one of the first sports and entertainment venues to receive this designation.

“We are really excited to have been able to move forward with this training opportunity for all of our staff. These initiatives are part of an ongoing commitment to our staff for training but also a commitment to our customers to provide the best customer experience possible,” says Ryan MacIvor, Global Spectrum Facility Management’s General Manager at the Encana Events Centre.

WorldHost is an essential training program in the tourism and service industry, it is nationally and internationally renowned. WorldHost provides employees with the necessary tools to implement excellent customer service in a variety of circumstances.

The Encana Events Centre comes into an extremely busy event season this April. “Individuals who have obtained certification, have gained the skills and confidence required to excel at customer service. This investment in our employees, distinguishes this events centre with a further competitive edge. From creating positive first impressions to handling customer issues, the course enhances pride in the workplace & the community,” says Stefanie Oestreich, Global Spectrum Facility Management’s Events Coordinator at the Encana Events Centre.
