Global Spectrum Facility Management helped raise over $50,000 for Local Charities

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Global Spectrum Facility Management operators of the Encana Events Centre helped raise over $50,000 to over sixty five (65) charitable organizations and events throughout the Peace Region in 2014.


The management and staff of Global Spectrum Facility Management take pride in giving back to the communities through contributions, donations, and random gifts of kindness. Some of the charities and events that received contributions in 2014 include; Batting Against Cancer, the Salvation Army Christmas Food Drive, South Peace Oilmen’s Association, Kidsport Chetwynd Chapter, Fort St John Hospital Foundation and Dawson Creek Step up ‘N Ride Society to name just a few.

Global Spectrum Charities was established by Global Spectrum Facility Management to improve the quality of life for people living in regions throughout the US and Canada. April 25th marked Comcast Cares Day and is our company' signature celebration of our year-round commitment to volunteerism. Comcast NBCUniversal mobilizes employees, their families and friends to work alongside community partners and public officials to revitalize neighborhood parks, beautify schools to improve the learning environment, stock community food banks, install computer labs at community centers, plant trees, conduct food drives and much more. In honor of this day, the Global Spectrum staff at the Encana Events Centre presented the principal at Tremblay Elementary School $500 for their student breakfast program, money that was raised at the center’s recent Health & Wellness Expo.
